seattle day date number two.

today we went to the big city! again (: we hung out at pike's market, ate lunch, walked a lot, and went downtown. you did so great, as usual. (: you were wide awake most of the day and interested in everything around you (you've been that way since the moment you were born), and you enjoyed watching all of the people. and boy, do people LOVE to look at you too my dear! at sotto voce a lady came up to me and told me you are the most beautiful baby, asked if I would turn so she could see you, all followed by ten minutes of, "honey! look at this gorgeous baby!" and pulling her sons and their girlfriends (poor girls...haha!) aside to point you out and tell them "THIS is what I want, right here! look how beautiful she is!" no pressure, ladies. then there's all the wives and girlfriends who saw you and got glassy-lovey eyes, linked arms with and leaned into their man, and looked longingly at you until he noticed...you really stirred up some baby fever today! downtown, we made a trip into the restroom at nordstrom and once you were full, clean, and dry, you just wanted to go back out into the world! there was even sunshine when we went back outside (: the car was really the only place you weren't happier than a clam. we came back to grandpa's to change and chill for a minute, and then went to dinner at a very loud, but tasty pizza place called the rock. you were soo tired from the busy day! it took a few, but you zonked right out - loud rock music, sports games, and boisterous company (including the toddler behind us who couldn't take her eyes off you) and all! unbelievable. (: even the waitress at dinner was telling coworkers to come peek at you, and ladies in the restrooms everywhere were ooh-ing and ahh-ing, and touching your sweet arms or belly. you are SO loved. overall...I'd say today was a success. (:
