you are my sunshine . . .: 8.4.2012 / five months!

i feel like i was just writing about four months last week! where in the world does all the time go, does it hide under earth's crust or in space? cause it's gone, that's for sure. it was sunny for awhile again today, but by the time i got us outside it started to get a tad cloudy. just enough that it was super bright outside with the white clouds, yet overcastish. weird? you get more and more coordinated by the day - when i'm putting you in the car seat (which by the way, you do SO well in these days), i put the mushroom or your baby between my teeth as i'm buckling with both hands, and you just reach out and grab it and then you do a little happy look-what-i-did shake of the toy. um, it's adorable. (: you roll both ways, though not as often from tummy to back still, and are sort-of precrawling! soo not ready for that life-change yet. (; you lovelovelove to stand and sit, and the last couple of days you've been pretty anti-laying down. you'll tolerate it sometimes, but you definitely let me know when it's not that time...haha. your balance is super impressive to me! i can hold you by only your hips while standing, and you catch every wobble and weeble. you're *almost* sitting totally without me! but you take tumbles onto your face still sometimes. ahhh you are just amazing, more and more each day. i still literally cannot believe i grew your tiny (huge to me now! but i know you're still tiny in the scope of things) body inside me and then gave birth to you. pure awe. you are giggling a ton now, and the last weekish you giggle at just me, without me doing anything! (: when i handed you to grandma today at dinner, you looked right at me and giggled two or three times. i cried a little...and i'm welling up just thinking about it. ahhhloveyougirl! your giggle is the sweetest thing i've ever heard...along with every other sound you make of course! you made some new ones yesterday and today...tonight you sounded like a sweet little bird. and speaking of, you loved listening to the birds outside. you are so my child, you loved being outside, putting your hands in the grass and flowers (i was trying to snap a photo of the grass stains under your nails but you're a little wiggleworm(: pretty awesome if you ask me!), soaking up the sun. so look forward to being able to just do everything with you! and also just reveling in the time that is now, you tiny sweet little sunshine, you. <3
