7-14.5.2012 / a few firsts, six month visit, and sunshine!

monday 7 may was so lovely(: we went to brandi & lucy's, ran errands, went to the park just us, and met grandma for dinner. she was very excited to see you! you sat in a tree for the first time, went down a slide (with my help!), and sat in the baby swing, which you pretty much loved. also, first wisher-blower (yes that's the technical term) experience...straight into the mouth, haha! i quickly got the seeds all out...probably didn't taste too good (; tuesday we met with mercedes, beau, and baby drew at the city park in mcminnville, which was fun! beautiful park, we sat in a little grassy area covered with little daisies. (: you also picked your first daisy today! I tried to keep it but it got jumbled and vanished): beau was so sweet to you, kept hugging you and holding you and it was adorable! then we went to see dr. jessie for your six month appointment! ummmmyeah. think we already discussed that(; everything's looking good! you are 25 1/4 inches long/tall and 14lbs 13oz!! my growing girl(: then we went to brandi and lucy's to eat and hydrate, then to baskett slough together. it was pretty windy, but you're pretty content anywhere outside, so it worked out (: wednesday morning we went to joryville with dallas and miss eevee! miss e is sooo sweet...hugs and loves all over you (: wednesday night we drove up to oly to stay with grandpa for the weekend! thursday we discovered a new nursing position...i think we are equally stoked(; we hung out outside (by the way, it's been gorgeous the last week!! very warm), in the back yard, in the garden, at the market. friday at the market, i came back from the bathroom to see grandpa wearing you in the ergo!!! it was sooo cute(: the mall in olympia has the coolest baby/mama room i've ever been in. saturday was a garden day, and barry and lisa came for dinner. sunday was more gardening, planting tomatoes, and then the drive home...we stopped at ikea to alleviate the pain. (can't stand how much i dig that place...ha). today was low-key. lll meeting this morning...you were so entertained by the other littles. then an appointment and hanging with baby lucy and landen, then i made dinner for grandma and brandi a day late for mother's day. oh yes, and my very first mama's day! (: babygirl YOU are the best gift i could ever get(:(:(: the day i held you in my arms, my beautiful girl, was absolutely, hands down the best day of my life! being your mama has brought a freedom i never thought i'd know, more love than my entire body can contain, and the best friend i could ever have dreamed of! (: love you more than anything in the world miss sunshine! <3
